Topper is made with edible "ink" consisting of food colors are is printed onto edible "paper.
Frosting sheets are about the thickness of cardstock (110 lb) and have sweetened to smell and taste like buttercream frosting. Because they are fairly thick, they are more durable, easier to apply and have better flavor (although they are almost tasteless) than other edible paper products. This is excellent choice for the applicator with no or little experience.
Starch sheets are about the thickness of regular paper and have no smell or taste. Although they can be used on any dessert, starch sheets are the preferred paper to use on fondant because of its thinness which also makes then easily tearable for beginner applicators.
Toppers should be used within one year of purchase but is best used within 90 days as colors and flavor will change over time. Edible inks are sensitive to light so store topper away from direct light until ready to use.
Open package immediately before use. Rub backing side against edge of counter or table to loosen topper from paper backing. Peel topper off backing.
